Dr. Ansis Ģīlis is a board-certified plastic surgeon with more than ten years of practical experience in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
Clinical practice: Dr. Ģīlis private Clinic of Plastic Surgery and Pauls Stradiņš Clinical University Hospital
Areas of practice: aesthetic and reconstructive procedures, with a particular focus on breast and body surgery.
Dr. Ģīlis began his medical education at Riga Stradiņš University, where he earned his medical doctor degree in 2011, continued by certification in plastic surgery in 2016. These formative years were followed by further academic advancement, in 2022 he completed European Master’s Degree in Surgical Oncology, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Breast Surgery at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
Dr. Ansis Ģīlis is an active member in professional and social organizations, including Latvian Association of Plastic Surgeons (also member of Certification committee), Latvian Association of Aesthetic Medicine and The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and co-founder of the Latvian Medical Advancement Foundation.
Lecturer at Riga Stradiņš University and P. Stradins Medical College of the University of Latvia. Author of several scientific publications in the field of plastic surgery, also presenting in various scientific events locally and internationally, frequently featured in media interviews on plastic surgery and its development in Latvia.
